On November 1st, over 42 million Americans will not receive their SNAP benefits. That includes 5.5 million Californians—people right here in our WORTHY community. People who showed up for services last week. People who trust this space. People who deserve to feel good in their bodies.

At WORTHY, we believe that people are worthy of feeling good in their bodies. That’s not just a tagline—it’s our ethos. It’s why we exist.

And feeling good in your body? That starts with being fed.

You cannot practice self-care on an empty stomach. You cannot show up for your wellness when you’re worried about feeding your kids. You cannot feel worthy when you’re choosing between medication and meals.

WORTHY is launching an emergency CalFresh relief fund. We’re raising money to directly support our Wellness Initiative members who are on SNAP, and other community members who need food resources right now.

Every dollar you give goes directly to people in our community. We’re not waiting for the government to figure this out. Food banks are going to be overwhelmed. State resources are limited. We’re taking care of our own.

No amount is too little, and will go directly to those in need. Let’s support our fellow community members in their time of need.
