Lebanon is once again facing a devastating crisis.
Thousands of families have been forced to flee their homes, seeking safety in collective shelters across the country. Many arrived with nothing — no food, no basic supplies, and no certainty about what tomorrow will bring.
From the very first hours of the crisis, the team at Lebanese Social Responsibility (LSR) mobilized to respond.
Today, our organization is operating emergency food assistance programs across shelters, preparing and delivering more than 5,000 hot meals every single day to displaced families.
These meals are cooked in our LSR Central Kitchen in Amchit, with the help of 74 women working through a Cash-for-Work program, many of whom are themselves vulnerable.
Every day our teams wake up before dawn to:
* Cook thousands of hot meals
* Package and distribute food across shelters
* Coordinate with local authorities and humanitarian partners
* Ensure that displaced families receive a dignified meal
But the needs are growing rapidly.
Shelters continue to receive new displaced families, and our kitchens are running at full capacity. To sustain this life-saving effort, we urgently need your support.
