Hunger isn’t a distant problem—it’s happening right here in our neighborhoods, schools, and communities. Inspired by Gladys’s journey, I am committed to making sure no child or family in our area goes without a meal.

Gladys’s story began in her early 40s, after years of struggle. She made a promise: “If I ever get back on my feet… I’m going back for the people who didn’t have anyone.” She started small, cooking extra meals and handing out plates from her own kitchen, feeding whoever showed up—no questions asked. At first, it was just a few people. Then it became dozens. Her kindness and determination have inspired me to continue this mission and reach even more people in need.
