Hi everyone! Thank you for being interested in supporting this cause. This year for my birthday I hope you will consider—of course only if you are in a place to do so—making a donation that will go towards supporting Chicago youth and their families, especially in making sure they have enough to eat. Funds raised will specifically go towards a program in the city that helps underprivileged American children access education and food. Times have been tough, and a lot of these children have migrant parents whose circumstances, particularly as of recent, have made it difficult for them to provide for their families.

I have a personal connection to this organization, given my membership on my school’s social service board. I have learned so much about how small, local programs are often overlooked. Speaking to the lady who runs it made it clear to me that the needs of the people she serves are serious, which is why your support would mean the world.
