Hello, I’m Fatima Elfaki on behalf on my brother (Muhammad Elfaki) from Khartoum, Sudan. My family consists of four people, my mother, my wife, and my younger brother. On April 15, 2023, a bloody and horrific conflict broke out and is still continuing until now in Sudan. Lives were lost, women were raped, and money and property were stolen. As a result of this The conflict: My brother and I lost our jobs and income our van was stolen. We survived only by ourselves and lost all of our possessions. We flee away from Khartoum during the conflict and since that we have being fleeing from a village to another seeking shelter , there is no assist no help, we need a lot of support so we can escape and flee to Egypt then travel to Canada, this support and donation will go towards travelling,housing, food, and tickets from Sudan to Egypt then from Egypt to canada. There is a very high cost of living and house rents that have become very expensive in. Even getting a job is no longer easy and work has become so marginal that you cannot cover your expenses and needs. My mother is sick and needs a heart catheterization procedure . We now live in a small village. We are expected to reach Canada in the near future through the humanitarian pathway. I thank the Canadian government for this gesture towards the Sudanese people, but unfortunately they do not have any financial support for those coming, housing or tickets through this program during the first year, permanent residency only. I ask you all to donate generously, provide support, The and extend a helping hand to me and my family to overcome this ordeal and move to a safe country where we can start our lives again.
