Hello everyone,

My name is Janiya Robinson. but I go by Lari. I am from Chicago, Illinois in the US. For more than a year now, I’ve been raising funds to support families in Gaza. Since June 2024, I’ve been in close contact with a young woman named Nourhan and her family, doing everything I can to help them survive day by day.

This fundraiser is for Fatima, Nourhan’s mother-in-law. She is a strong, loving woman who has carried her family through so much pain and uncertainty. But right now, she and her loved ones are struggling with things no one should have to worry about — finding enough food to eat, clean water to drink, safe shelter to sleep under, and access to medicine when illness strikes especially because Fatima is diabetic.

Every day, they wake up to the sound of danger and go to bed with fear in their hearts, unsure what tomorrow will bring. Yet despite all of this, they hold onto hope. Fatima’s love for her family pushes her to keep going, even when the weight of survival feels unbearable.

Your donation, no matter the size, can be the difference between despair and relief for them. It can mean a meal on the table, a roof overhead, or the medicine that saves a life. Every single dollar goes directly to Fatima and her family — I stay in contact with them and make sure your kindness reaches their hands.
