Help Father with Attorney Fees

Hi, my name is Jeremy Dunn I am raising money to help pay my attorney bills for the child custody case for our 6 year old little girl, Falcon. Falcon’s health, safety, and well-being all mean more to me then anything in this world. I work full time and provide 90% of expenses and support for Falcon. I’d rather not ask for funds but work for them instead; however, finding extra time to do so while working, taking care of Falcon, and preparing for court has become more then I can handle.

Falcon starts 1st grade this year and I’m trying to get her into a better school system so she can start to blossom into the bright smart little woman she’s becoming. During the school year, her mother doesn’t help her with homework and I’m hoping to ensure more time at my house so she gets the support she needs to supplement her education. In order for me to give this opportunity to her, I will need to go back to court to adjust our current custody schedule and hopefully win more time. This will be the second time going to court; the first time 3 years ago the judge didn’t take the time to look at my case. Being a committed and caring father fighting for custody doesn’t seem to be taken as seriously in the county which is why I’m going to invest in legal support this time.

A little more about my situation: Falcon’s mother and I have two very different households and ideas on what is healthy and beneficial for our daughters future. At her mother’s house, Falcon tends to be cooped up in a very unhealthy hoarding environment with most attention coming from a tablet or TV. She rarely leaves the house even just to go to the park, nor is she ever allowed time to play with friends. As a father this is very hard for me to watch as her creativity and spark are constantly dulled down by the lack of healthy stimulation.

The lawyer I met with is amazing with great testimonials and reviews, though her initial retainer to begin the case is $10,000 which at this time will be difficult to meet on my own. I’m hoping that with some extra support we will be able to meet our goal and get the process started ASAP. Any amount helps!
