Help Family Stay Housed During High-Risk Pregnancy
Donation protected
My name is Wylder Ayres, and I’m a full-spectrum doula based in Western Massachusetts. I’m reaching out on behalf of a loving and resilient family I have the honor of supporting as they navigate an incredibly challenging chapter while preparing to welcome their third child into the world.
My client is in the final stretch of a medically complex pregnancy. On the recommendation of both her healthcare provider and her partner’s HR department, her partner took leave from work under the belief that he qualified for Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFMLA) to care for her and their two young children.
He has now been out of work for a month. Just recently, his PFMLA claim was unexpectedly denied—leaving the family without income, with mounting bills, and in deep distress. HR is unsure how this happened, and her care team is equally baffled. An appeal is in process, but time is critical.
This is a single-income household preparing to welcome their third child. They are now urgently trying to keep up with their mortgage and basic living expenses while managing the physical and emotional demands of this high-risk pregnancy.
I’m asking for community support to help keep this family housed and stable during this incredibly vulnerable time. All donations will go directly toward their mortgage, utilities, groceries, and essential expenses as they await a resolution.
If you’re able to give—even a small amount—it would mean the world. And if you can’t donate, sharing this campaign is just as meaningful.
