I’m ashamed to be here, honestly. We have maybe a week to come up with enough to meet rent and a costly vehicle repair so as not to uproot and lose everything we just gave every cent to re establish. I recently lost my job due to a last minute contract renegotiation and have used all of our savings having had to move due to circumstances out of our control. We had to pay and did so, as always, our final 2 months rent to our previous landlord while searching, finding and paying a deposit and first months rent on a new place which would absolutely not be available until our final day to move out from previous place. We paid the new rent along with the old and new deposits on all utilities, fought to get certain amenities turned on to allow me to continue with my remote position with work. Upon roll off of my position, I had already filled out and applied for multiple jobs and was offered a couple that were a bit far from home, having one vehicle for 5 people, now living 4 miles from a main road. I could have made this work, however, the wheels, quite literally fell off of our vehicle while I had two of our three girls in tow. Thankfully, it didn’t happen while in traffic as it would have likely caused a fatal crash.

We spent what little I had been able to recover after the move to fix one side of the vehicle and it’s a matter of time before the other side suspension fails as well. I have done side work and completed work for people remotely that was not paid for after completion. I am still actively trying to find work, adequate means to get to an in person position or hopefully finding something remote again until I’m able to make the vehicle safe.

All this to say, the kids never go without, I am grateful and blessed that it’s not worse than it has been but am at an impasse at the moment and have nothing to sell or get a loan on currently. Again, I am embarrassed to even attempt this, but I assure you… it is solely to try to get a hand up, not a hand out.

Any Donation with a name attached WILL be paid back and then some, not later than within 6 months. Any subsequent, anonymous amount, etc, will be paid forward to help someone else when they’re in need of a lifeline or towards a reputable charity or the like.

Though this is embarrassing … I wouldn’t arrive at this point without a heavy heart, a tucked tail, swallowed pride and a promise that this is to get my family back on track before it becomes even more unmanageable or irreparable. I completely understand if you think poorly of me for this outreach, and apologize. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly with any questions or elaboration.
