Last night, my daughter, her boyfriend, and their three kids experienced a devastating fire when their garage caught on fire. The flames quickly spread, burning four other garages in the process. While we are grateful that everyone is safe, the family lost many of their children’s belongings in the fire. It’s heartbreaking to see the kids without the things they need and love, especially after such a frightening event.

The funds raised will go directly toward helping the children recover from this loss. My 2-year-old grandson needs a new car seat, and my daughter’s boyfriend’s two daughters need booster seats. We also need to replace my grandson’s stroller and some of the kids’ clothes that were lost. These are essential items that will help the kids feel safe and comfortable again as they start to rebuild.
