My father passed away this past May, and while my mother and I have a comfortable living situation, there's still bills that are being paid off very slowly, especially since she has yet to receive her widow's pension and both of us are on disability support. I was already deep in debt before my father's passing, and helping to cover his medical bills while he was in the hospital as well as his funeral costs have worsened that considerably.
