Two nights ago, tragedy struck my fiancé’s family in Puebla, Mexico.

After days of heavy rain, a nearby river overflowed and flooded their home. Within minutes, water and mud filled every room, destroying everything they owned. In just moments, all their belongings — furniture, clothes, and memories — were destroyed.

Mariana’s parents and their pets escaped just in time, but their beloved horse is still trapped inside the flooded house, fighting to survive.

Our family has nothing left — a place where insurance doesn’t exist , no support, only the strength to start again from zero.
