THANK YOU VERY MUCH for all your donations. On behalf of UNICEF Philippines and the entire Filipino Community, I am truly grateful. Your generosity is already helping families and children affected by the typhoon, and I appreciate every single one of you who chose to support this cause.
I will keep the donations open. Anything donated from this point on will be sent to UNICEF Philippines via this link:
or you can also donate directly through the same link.
Thank you again for your kindness and support. I will keep you posted with updates from UNICEF Philippines. Borahae.

Hi, my name is Tom Koods, and I’m fundraising for UNICEF Philippines to help children and families affected by Typhoon Tino (Kalmaegi) and Typhoon Uwan (Fung-Wong).
I was born and raised in the Philippines and I’m now an American living in Switzerland. As a Filipino-American living abroad, I am raising these funds as an individual supporter to donate directly to UNICEF Philippines’ emergency relief efforts.
Recently, back-to-back typhoons hit the country, leaving thousands of families displaced and countless children in need of shelter, clean water, and protection.
This Friday, I’m turning 50 years old, and instead of receiving gifts, I want to use this milestone to give back.
I’ve supported UNICEF fundraising efforts before, and I’ve seen how effectively they respond during emergencies. Their teams in the Philippines are already providing clean water, hygiene kits, emergency shelter, education materials, and psychosocial support to affected children and families.
Once I receive the GoFundMe payout, I will immediately transfer 100% of the funds to the official UNICEF Philippines bank account provided by their Finance Department, to ensure the support reaches their ongoing relief efforts as quickly as possible. I will also share the donation confirmation publicly so everyone can see how our contribution helped.
As ARMY, we’ve always shown that we can make a difference.
Like RM said in his APEC speech, our small actions can create real change.
Thank you for helping bring hope and comfort to the children and families of the Philippines.
