Help Fabiola's Dad with Legal Fees
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Fabiola. I am an 18-year-old girl with a heavy heart reaching out for help. This past Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 8 a.m., my family's world was turned upside down. Immigration officers (ICE) unexpectedly stopped and detained my dad.
This news came as a complete shock to me my brother and my mom. My dad has legal paperwork that proves he is allowed to live and work in the United States. We are still struggling to understand why ICE would take him despite his status. The last time I spoke to my dad, he was crying over the phone, telling me to take care of myself and to be strong. Since then, we have had no communication. We don’t know where he is or what is happening to him. Our family is devastated, scared, and heartbroken.
My dad is not a criminal. He is a hard-working Hispanic man who has never done anything wrong. He is a devoted member of his church, a loving husband, and the best father a daughter could ever ask for. He has dedicated his life to providing for us, always with a smile on his face and kindness in his heart. To see him treated this way is beyond painful it feels unfair and terrifying.
Today, me and my family are humbly asking for your help. We have started this GoFundMe to raise funds to cover urgent legal expenses, help us locate my dad, secure an immigration attorney, and provide for our family's needs while he is away. Every dollar donated will go directly toward:
Hiring a trusted immigration lawyer to fight for my dad's release.
Covering any legal and court costs we face during this difficult process.
Supporting my family's living expenses as my dad was our main source of income.
Helping with any travel expenses if we need to visit him or attend court dates.
We truly believe in the power of community and prayer. Your support, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this campaign, means the world to us. No family should have to go through the fear and helplessness we are feeling right now.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading our story, for caring, and for standing with us in this difficult time. May God bless you for your kindness and generosity. Together, I believe we can bring my dad home.
With love and hope,
Fabiola
