Help Fabian Zamora and Family Stay Afloat

Hi,

My family is in need of help and I am at a loss on where to turn!!

My husband, Fabian Zamora, suffered a left pontine stroke on November 15th, 2023, and is still recovering. He is not able to work at the moment and has absolutely no income coming in. He has filed for disability, however, we are still waiting on being approved (this could take up to a year or longer). It's currently in the medical stage of the process. I am currently working full time and also working from home to be able to care for him. My income alone has not been enough to cover our mortgage along with everything else.

Our credit is not where it needs to be to be able to take out an Equity loan or any kind of loan for that matter. Our debt to ratio is not where it needs to be to get any kind of assistance. I am currently getting help once a month from the Food bank for food. They have also helped with our Water bill (NBU) and Family Life has assisted with our GVEC (electric) bill.

I was turned down for SNAP, due to my income being over the limit. We are a family of 3.

This is not easy for me, putting our current situation out there but as I mentioned I am at a loss on where to turn!!
