This GoFundMe is for Eva Morgan. On Friday, 9/27/24, Eva's house off Garren Creek Road in Fairview, NC, was flooded when a large wood log busted through her bay window. She was home at the time, and it is really God's grace that they were not killed or seriously injured. My heart was broken when I heard they were stranded in the flooded house overnight until they could get out the next day. She lives in this home with her two sons, one of whom is handicapped, and her older sister, whom she was taking care of. Eva is a lifelong resident of Fairview, and to us who know and love her, she is the real deal, a true "Saint" on earth. She has given her life to care for others, and she especially loves children. She cared for foster children, babysat kids in the community and for family, adopted children, and cared for her brothers and sisters. She is a true caregiver at heart and the most kind and patient person I know. This is the home she shared with her husband and raised her kids in, and I know she is heartbroken but strong.
