We are family friends of the sweetest lady named Pendo. Pendo is originally from Tanzania but has been here in Canada for over a decade. She has been in the process of adopting 12 year old twins Esther & Brighton for the past few years. Esther & Brighton were orphaned at a young age and Pendo has been supporting them from afar for years as she tirelessly worked through the mountains of paperwork to legally adopt them.

As we all know the wheels of the government turn extremely slow. Pendo has been working multiple jobs for years to be able to pay for legal fees, adoption fees, their schooling in Tanzania as well as trying to live here in Canada. The good news is, the twins are really close to being given the approval to move to Canada with their adopted mother. The bad news is, Pendo needs some help from her community to get them here.

That's why we, her friends are trying to raise money to be able to pay for flights for her and the twins to get over here as well as helping them transition to a new life here in Canada. Pendo's entire life story is one of perseverance and overcoming odds. From time to time she shares her story and there isn't a dry eye in the audience. Now she is trying to change the lives of two very deserving children.
