My mom, Esperanza Porta, lost her entire artisan business in a fire that destroyed part of the Ernesto Fernández market in Masaya, Nicaragua. In just a matter of hours, everything she had built over many years was reduced to ashes. Her small business was her main source of income and a place filled with history, effort, and family legacy. Now, she has to start from zero, and I am trying to help her rebuild what she lost.

The funds will be used to help my mom, Esperanza, rebuild her artisan business from zero. They will go toward basic materials to create handmade products again, rebuilding her small workspace, and replacing essential tools that were lost in the fire. This support will also help her cover immediate needs as she works to get back on her feet and restore her only source of income.
