Erma, my mother-in-law, is facing a crisis that no one should have to go through. Recently, her sewer line collapsed, and now sewer water is backing up into her house, making it impossible for her to stay in her own home. The smell and the mess have made her living situation unbearable, and she’s been forced to leave the place she loves.

Erma is on a very limited income, and the cost to repair the sewer line is far beyond what she can afford. She’s always been independent and strong, but this unexpected emergency is more than she can handle alone.
