Help Erin's Family Fight for Child Support

Update: I have to get an attorney in Georgia to file a petition to have the case moved to Texas. Georgia has jurisdiction since that is where the original case happened. once it is accepted in Texas, then I have to get a lawyer here to work my case. This is a lot more difficult than I thought. The cheapest attorney in Georgia I could find is asking $2600 to file the paperwork.

My name is Erin and I am a single mom of two kids. Their father is not active in their life, but he does pay child support. Now he has stopped. He wants to lower child support because he has other kids to take care of and he never lined up another job after retiring from the military. Instead of lowering, he just stopped paying. What people don't know is that he is trying to get a gender reassignment surgery that the military didn't pay for since he was about retire and rightfully so. Now he is looking for ways to have extra money to pay for this. This extra money is coming at the expense of his children. I have a full time job and a part time job. My teenage daughter is trying to find a job to help pay bills or buy groceries, but nobody is hiring at 15. She has her own business making and selling cookies and protein bites. My son is too young to help. I have nothing against transgender people. I do have an issue with his responsibilities to his children being an inconvenience and now we are paying the price. I am embarrassed to have to ask for help. I have been able to get by but now I feel like I am about to start drowning and I need help. I do not want my children to suffer for their father's decisions. He hasn't seen them in years and knows nothing about their lives. It is a shame, really. My son has written him off but my daughter still has hope he will become a decent person. I now have to take him to court regarding this and I have no way to pay our bills plus lawyer fees. I am begging for help.
