Erin has been trying to get her permanent residency in Canada after finding the love of her life there. She has been staying there with extended visitor visas as she has been filing and working towards it. After coming to America to see us and get things for the application they decided that she can’t go back for anymore than 8 days before she needs to turn around to America. Now we have to get last minute plane tickets to bring her back, and because it’s so last minute the tickets are expensive. But if she doesn’t come back they’ll get her in trouble for “trying to immigrate illegally”. We don’t know how long the process will be after she comes back but she’s in such a bind now where filling for residency has become a rushed necessity.
