Help Ericka, a Brave Mom of 4, Get a Car Before School Start

Hi friends,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a deep sense of urgency to ask for your help for someone incredibly dear to me — my friend Ericka, a mother of four, who is doing everything she can to hold her family together in the aftermath of abuse.

I’ve known Ericka for almost 20 years, and in all that time, I’ve never seen anyone love as fiercely, give as freely, or fight as hard for her children as she does. She is the kind of woman who would offer you the little she has just to make your day better. Now, she’s the one who needs a village — and I’m hoping we can be that for her.

After escaping an emotionally and financially abusive relationship, Ericka has found herself stranded — quite literally — without a car and with four young kids depending on her. Her ex cut her off and his own children, from transportation, leaving her isolated and struggling to meet even the most basic daily needs.

Now, with school starting this month, the stakes are even higher.

Without a car, she can’t get her kids to school, to daycare, to doctors’ appointments, or even to potential job opportunities. It’s a devastating barrier to rebuilding her life and giving her kids the safe, stable future they deserve.

We’re raising funds to help Ericka get a reliable vehicle — something safe and sturdy that she can count on — so she can move forward, take care of her kids, and start to heal.

This isn’t just about a car.
It’s about freedom.
It’s about stability.
It’s about giving a mother the power to take her life back and four children the chance to start school with hope, not fear.

Please know every single dollar will go directly toward this goal and is received as the biggest blessing.
Let’s show Ericka she’s not alone. That even after all she’s been through, love and support can still show up for her in powerful ways.

With love and gratitude,
Rachel
