Hi this is John Acord. One of my close soccer friends for over 20 years unfortunately lost his wife today. Below is a post Erick made this morning about his wife and best friend. Patty battled cancer with multiple rounds of chemo but finally lost her battle. Even with all the challenges she faced, she demonstrated strength, grace, and courage for her family.

Dear friends:

Patty has made it to heaven. Our Lord was waiting with open arms. Her dad was waiting for her. She loved life. She loved her family, friends, neighbors and anyone who talked to patty. Her Faith in God and Jesus Christ was strong. And she will be remembered forever.

She leaves behind her loving kids. Erick Anthony, Tyler, and Alessandra Carias.
