Friends, family and colleagues. As some of you may know, our dear friend Eric (Rincon Brewery, formerly of Casa Agria) suffered a massive stroke.

Here’s an update from his wife, Emily.

Eric suffered a massive stroke on Friday, September 25. He is still in the CCU until he gains strength to transfer to a stroke rehab unit. He’s affected with full paralysis of his left side. He is likely looking at several months of physical and occupational therapy, at least. His mind is sharp and he can speak.

Many of you have asked about a gofundme, thank you. Myself and Mike (Richmond) will keep this going, with funds going directly to Emily’s account.

As friends and nieghbors of Eric and Emily, we will do our best to help out when appropriate. Emily homeschools the kids, while Eric brews, with no funds coming in from work, the donations are much appreciated.
