 Friends, family and colleagues. As some of you may know, our dear friend Eric (Rincon Brewery, formerly of Casa Agria) suffered a massive stroke.
</div>
<div>
 Here’s an update from his wife, Emily.
</div>
<div>
 Eric suffered a massive stroke on Friday, September 25. He is still in the CCU until he gains strength to transfer to a stroke rehab unit. He’s affected with full paralysis of his left side. He is likely looking at several months of physical and occupational therapy, at least. His mind is sharp and he can speak.
</div>
<div>
 Many of you have asked about a gofundme, thank you. Myself and Mike (Richmond) will keep this going, with funds going directly to Emily’s account.
</div>
<div>
 As friends and nieghbors of Eric and Emily, we will do our best to help out when appropriate. Emily homeschools the kids, while Eric brews, with no funds coming in from work, the donations are much appreciated.

<div>
 Thank you all for your care and donations.

Help Eric After His Stroke With Rehab and Family Costs

<div>Jerry has been battling a kidney infection since December 2021 and is currently hospitalized at Sierra Vista Hospital and will be out of work for the next few weeks as a best case scenario. He has two boys, ages 9 and 13. All money donated will be used for Jerry’s bills. He had been working in pain for several months and wants nothing more than to feel better and get back to the shop to support his family. As a barber, he is his own boss and will have no income during this time. Covid had already been hard on his barbering career over the past two years with closures and the many restrictions, and currently, Jerry is the only daily barber at Northside Mike’s. Until Jerry can work to support his family, he will need all the help he can get, so please help if you can!! Jerry has a great heart and is already making some progress, but the path forward involves surgeries and possibly removing one of his kidneys. There will also be a donation box at Mike’s Barber Shop for in-person donations at 280 Morro Bay Blvd, Morro Bay, CA 93442

Please Help Jerry Day!
