Help Erect the Central Illinois Fallen Biker Memorial
Donation protected
As many are familiar with, a few years ago, Randy "Houndog" Henry was commissioned to design and engrave a memorial to remember members of the motorcycle community that were lost while enjoying the freedom of riding their motorcycles. There were roughly 100 names put on the wall during course of the next couple years. However, since that time, ownership of the site of that memorial changed hands, and after an unsuccessful attempt to obtain and relocate that memorial, we have decided to create a new memorial dedicated to those that were lost while riding.
The new Central Illinois Fallen Biker Memorial will be located at the VVI Bunker at 100 Bittersweet Rd in Washington (Sunnyland) Illinois. We have been so touched and energized by the support for this project by the community. It will be erected on glass panels supported on anchored steel framing with a brick patio sitting and viewing area. While the memorial is strictly for the friends and loved ones we have lost on their motorcycles, you will be able to purchase customized and etched bricks of others that you wish to have memorialized in the patio of this display. We are both incredibly excited and humbled to be able to bring something back to the motorcycle community that means so much to so many. Thank you for your consideration of donating to this memorial that is so close to our hearts!
