Hi my name is Billy and I am fundraising for my friend Matthew.

Matt is a very kind, sensetive and hardworking guy who works for my team as a production assistant. As I have been working with him, I have gotten to know him as a friend. He recently shared some very personal and heartbreaking news with me and I know there are enough kind and generous people in the world that will want to help him.

A few years ago he and a young woman he is no longer involved with had a child who was sadly born with one underdeveloped arm and the other stricken with arthrogryposis which is a condition that makes it impossible for her to use it as it remains ridgid. Despite this condition, Matt tells me that Aura has grown up be a very beautiful and happy little girl and she has adapted very well considering not having the use of either of her arms... except when it comes to meal time. It is impossible for her to feed herself unless she literally goes face first into her plate, obviously most of the time her mother feeds her but it certainly must be quite a burden for her to always be there everytime this little girl is hungry. Even more important for Aura's, now 5 years old mental well being is SHE WANTS TO DO IT ON HER OWN. She is growing up and doesn't want to be fed like she is an infant anymore.

There is a device that can be programmed for her height when she is sitting in a chair that she can activate that feeds her so she can eat on her own. It's called the Obi Robotic Dining Assistant Gen II Device. It's entirely too expensive for these two young people to try and purchased at over 7k, but I know we can find a way to get this device to them. I realize everyone has a gofund me for one thing or another, but I am going to bug everyone I know until these parents can get this child this machine to give them all a little more piece of mind.
