The Community Voices Committee (CVC) has launched a grassroots campaign to preserve and protect the Dean Lake Bridge. Your donation will help support our "not-for-profit" entity that seeks to ensure this irreplaceable piece of our heritage remains part of our future.

And now, to protect our community’s safety and ensure governance principals are upheld, we are filing an application in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice for Judicial Review of the Municipality of Huron Shores’ decision to demolish the bridge it in favour of an alternate road route that still requires extensive upgrades. This application will also challenge Council’s decision NOT to restore interim access to the bridge while those upgrades are designed and constructed—an endeavor that could take significant time given land ownership and environmental constraints.
