Help my mama friend Emmy and her babies avoid homelessness!!

After having a panic attack due to chronic health issues, she got arrested by the cops and was given a DUI last week. After having a panic attack and a health flare, she was cuffed and thrown around, meds and phone taken away, she could not breathe so the breathalyzer didn’t work, and the cops pinned her down, took blood and antagonized her about drug use. The public defender found that they also exposed her bare chest to the public and the cops stole her underwear. Emmy is a survivor of sexual abuse and is further scarred and financially struggling due to this event!

Emmy is hard working mother who has had to leave multiple abusive situations, all while taking care of her 3 babies under the age of 6. She struggles with disability, chronic health issues and severe weight loss. This recent moment of trauma has only put her emotionally and financially at risk. Since she had to pay to get my car back and pay legal fees to get my license stayed temporarily to work just for summer, she is in great debt from her concussion

Her oldest has autism, and her other children have been with her fleeing her ex after repeated assault. Emmy is a single mother of indigenous descent, Latinx/ White descent, teaching ASL and holistic special education and doing midwifery. Emmy is a community member who loves so hard and has gotten so little back

Right now Emmy is 7,800$ in debt because she got a concussion during the event. This has costed Emmy her second job, and now she may end up homeless in less than a month with her 3 kids.

If her parents found out, she and her babies all be disowned by the rest of the entire family, her mom cannot afford to help her, and she is in need of GREAT help right now!!
