Our small and close-knit community is deeply grieving the loss of one of our beautiful children. Emmet Zodrow, age 12, lost his precious life in a bicycle accident on the grounds of the Caestecker Library in Green Lake on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. The entire community is grieving. Emmet was full of love, light, smiles, and happiness. He loved playing baseball, riding his bike, reading and being with his friends. Most of all Emmet loved spending time with his family and his precious sister, Elliat. Emmet also loved hiding painted rocks and working in his parents businesses. People will always remember Emmet for his beautiful smile, sparkling blue eyes, and his infectious personality.

With the proceeds of this Go Fund Me account, the Zodrow family will use the funds to build a raised pitching mound at Murray Park in Ripon, along with establishing a beautiful garden and reflection area at the library, and perform necessary baseball field upgrades in memory of dear Emmet. They will also establish a scholarship in Emmet’s name for a cause dear to his heart, the AYA (Angler & Young Angler) tournament.

This GoFundMe account will be used as a vehicle for people to help. As we all know, this can be a completely overwhelming time for the family and they are asking for space and privacy. The family does not desire any food although the sentiment is much appreciated. The Zodrow’s are always amongst the first to raise their hands and step up and help in our tight knit community.
