The Shahids recently made a courageous journey to the United States from Pakistan, seeking religious freedom and a brighter future for their children. Despite their determination, they have faced significant challenges. Emmanuel is battling a heart condition, which has made finding steady work difficult, even as both he and Shamsa tirelessly search for employment.

This winter, they are at risk of losing their apartment. Our goal is to raise $6,000 to cover their rent for the next three months. This would give Emmanuel time to recover and allow both parents to focus on securing stable jobs without the looming threat of homelessness.
