Help Emmalyn be apart of her community
Hi everyone, I am fundraising for a new vehicle. My daughter Emmalyn is 4 years old and getting to big to be carried. She is outgrowing her stroller. Emmalyn has a chromosome deletion and complex medical diagnosis’. She is unable to walk or crawl. She has limited strength in her torso and slow response time in her brain. She is deaf in one ear and has severe hearing loss in the other, which has led to delayed speech. My goal with this fundraiser is to help her safely be apart of all the day to day activities other kids are apart of.
My family is asking for donations towards a new vehicle that her wheelchair can fit in. It would be ideal to get a vehicle already accessible.
Currently she tries to throw herself out of her stroller when she is excited or mad. It would be in her best interest for her safety, to be able to bring her wheelchair everywhere with her. I would love for her to be apart of everything! Our family would be so thankful to be able to have Emmalyn completly participate in outings and events that are easy accessible to mobile children.
