Help Emma Reconnect with Family in Ethiopia

Hi, my name is Emma Lillemo. A few years ago, my life changed forever when I was involved in a serious collision with a truck. I broke my right fibula and tibia, and my left femur was broke straight through. The break went straight through my growth plate, leaving my left leg unable to grow further.

Recovery has been incredibly difficult—physically, emotionally, and mentally. But through it all, I’ve learned a powerful lesson: If life gives you a chance to do something meaningful, don’t wait—do it now.

Recently, I’ve been invited to visit family in Ethiopia, an opportunity that means the world to me. It’s a chance to reconnect, to heal, and to live fully after years of pain and struggle.
