Help Emma Get to Greece: GMB Brigade 2021

Hello friends and family! For the last 3 years I have been apart of a club at UCF called Global Medical Brigades, GMB for short. This club has truly changed my life for the better and I'm grateful to be apart of it. The purpose of this club is to travel to low income areas of certain countries to provide medical care to those who need it the most. These areas we travel to have little to no medical care around them, except for when we come and provide that care for them. Our mission is to empower the volunteers and under-resourced communities to resolve global health and economic disparities and inspire all involved to collaboratively work towards an equal world. 
This summer GMB is planning on going to Greece! This is a brand new country of opportunity for us and I am truly excited to go to a place as beautiful and culturally diverse as Greece. While I'm in-country, I will be shadowing licensed doctors from multiple different fields (pharmacology, dentistry, pediatrics, etc.) and providing assistance to them and also those in the community. This is a 7 day trip that will, HOPEFULLY, take place from July 17-24. 
Like I said previously, this club has truly changed my life and I'm so grateful for everything I've been able to accomplish thus far in this amazing club. However, I need your help. While this is a trip of a lifetime and an opportunity I'm lucky to even have, the funds I need for this trip is where I am struggling. I need to have these funds within the next month or so and that is why I decided to create this Go Fund Me. I really hope you consider donating, so I can continue providing medical care to those who need it the most and be the light that they need in their lives. 
Also, enjoy these pictures from my previous brigade to Panama back in 2019! We set up 2 clinics in Puerto Lara and Nicanor in the Darien Province of Panama, where we helped 648 patients from 3 different surrounding communities.
