Hi there! My name is Emily Haefner, and I am raising funds for my kids and me to be able to move into a new place after being displaced for 5 months now. We have all suffered severe domestic abuse by my own family and friends, which caused me to be unemployed for a whole year and made us lose our place back in November of 2025.

I finally was hired at a job, and my adult daughter got her first full-time job. So we are now ready to get a place and have started applying for homes in our city. Though we make enough to pay rent and bills, it is difficult to come up with all of the fees and deposits required to get moved in. We are raising money to help with the deposit and first month's rent at our new, much-deserved home.
