My name is Emily, and I’m reaching out because my family and I are facing the hardest challenge we’ve ever experienced. We unexpectedly lost our home due to a fault on the realtor’s end, leaving us with no notice and just three days to pack up everything and put it in storage. After paying for a U-Haul, a hotel room for a week, and basic necessities, we found ourselves living paycheck to paycheck, doing everything we could to keep our kids safe and cared for.

We’ve sold what we can from storage to afford stable places to sleep at night, but it’s been a constant struggle. Some nights, we’re able to stay in a hotel, and on the nights we can’t afford it, we sleep in our car. Our kids’ needs always come first, and we’re doing our best to make sure they’re safe and have what they need, but it’s been incredibly difficult without any family support outside of my elderly grandmother.

We’re asking for help to save for a stable place to live, so our kids can have a safe and consistent home again.
