Help Emily & Dustin have a baby!!!!
Donation protected
Since we started this 'go fund me'....they have had 2 failed IUI proceedures!!!! The most recent one failing TODAY!!!!!! (Sept 11th,2020). Emily lost her lil boy 4 years ago yesterday...she was soooo hoping for amazing news today. Good news....happy news....positive news......unfortunately, the IUI proceedure didn't succeed and she was shattered to have her period arrive JUST NOW. I want NOTHING more than my daughter (who will be an AMAZING mom) to have a baby...she isn't asking for anything more than any other newly married person!!!!
Have you ever wanted a baby so badly....but the stars just didn't seem to align for you???? Welcome to my daughter Emily's story :(
I personally have never had the anxiety or heartbreak that my youngest daughter and her hubby have endured over the last few years in trying to 'expand' their family.
My beautiful daughter found the love of her life, Dustin, who ha2 a daughter from a previous relationship. Emily and Avah have bonded like no other and Emily has become a fantastic and wonderful step-mom to her.
Every little girls dream is to get married and then start a family! Married in 2018, Em's struggles with pregnancy haven't been easy. Etopic pregnancy followed by what seemed like a 'normal' pregnancy, only to lose her little boy at almost 6 months of pregnancy. As you can see by the story picture, they made their 'expecting' announcement sharing that a new baby would be due in Feb. 2017. In September 2016, being just 6 months pregnant, Emily's water broke for no apparent reason. She ended up in emerg to be told to go home, stay bed ridden in 'hopes' that the rupture would 'close itself'..........the rest is tragic news :( Upon returning to the hospital the next day, they discovered that her little boy no longer had a heart beat - and she had to GIVE BIRTH to him. Baby B is forever in our hearts.........
With these two heart breaks.......Emily ventured onward with Clomid treatments, doctors appointments, invasive proceedures, pills and so much more......only bringing waves of anxiety, mood swings and frustration. Endless attempts have always resulted in a failed pregnancy!
A most recent IUI treatment, costing them $650 has also failed......her blood test appointment was scheduled for July 24th, to see if the they were pregnant....but that was halted with a raging period today.
The reason I thought about doing a 'gofundme' is because, firstly, I want my daughter and hubby to have the baby they so want and secondly.....its unfortunate that the IVF treatments in B.C. are NOT free and can cost from $15-$20,000 to include all of the specialized medications necessary to help the process. She does have $5,000 coverage through her work, which covers 'prescription drugs' to help with the IVF treatment....BUT the actual IVF is not covered.
They are a young couple (25 and 30)...both with secure jobs......however, you and I both know that at that age, or actually at 'any age'.....coming up with that kind of money is next to impossible.
Ontario is the only province that has a one time FREE IVF if you are under 43 years old and live in Ontario....which unfortunately she doesn't. They live in BC.
I want my baby girl to have her own baby...........and unfortunately, the 'normal and easy' way isn't in the cards for her and her hubby...........so if you can help...AWESOME.....and if you cannot.....some 'encouraging and positive words are certainly appreciated :)
AND.............even a small donation of $5 is appreciated........it will all add up and they can fulfill their dream :)
