Tuesday - April 6, Emilee and Wyatt came home to a chilling scene of their relatively new rental townhome in flames. Thankfully, they are both okay. Milo, their dog, was able to stay safe as he ran out of the house once they arrived and opened the front door.
The fire started in the first floor and completely burnt through it, but luckily didn’t rise to the second floor, or neighboring townhomes. They don’t have insurance, so there’s nothing to cover the loss. They’ve lost everything in the first floor, along with a place to go home to.
Emilee had recently moved to Alabama with her boyfriend to start building a life, after graduating from University of Florida.
It would mean the world to my family and I, if you were able to donate anything for them to restore what they’ve lost and to help them to get a jumpstart on finding a new home.
