I’m AJ, and I’m raising funds for my friend Eman.

Here is her story.

My name is Eman Salah, a graduate of Media and Mass Communication from Al-Azhar University in Gaza.

Like many young people in Gaza, I worked hard to build a future through education, determination, and honest work. Before the war, I helped manage a family-owned beauty and fashion business that operated both through a physical store and online. Through this experience, I gained practical skills in customer service, sales, social media management, marketing, and running a small business.

The war changed everything.

Our business, like countless others in Gaza, was severely affected, and we lost the ability to continue operating the store as we once did. Today, finding a suitable location and rebuilding a physical business is extremely difficult. Despite continuously searching for employment opportunities, the reality in Gaza has left very few options available for young graduates.

Rather than giving up, I want to rebuild through entrepreneurship.

I plan to relaunch and expand our existing business through our established social media platform, which previously served thousands of customers and built a strong community. The project will focus on providing clothing, beauty products, accessories, and other items that can currently be brought into Gaza, while also offering online ordering services to meet the needs of women and families in our community.

This is not a new dream. It is a continuation of something that already existed and succeeded before circumstances beyond our control brought it to a halt.

The support raised through this campaign will help me restart operations, purchase initial inventory, cover business expenses, strengthen online marketing, and create a sustainable source of income for myself and my family.

I believe in work, dignity, and self-reliance.

My goal is not simply to receive help, but to build something lasting that allows me to support myself through my own effort and experience.

The funds will be transferred directly to me, Eman Salah, through GoFundMe. I am the beneficiary of this fundraiser, and I will use the funds exclusively to restart and operate my family's business in Gaza. I will provide updates on the progress of the business and how donations are helping us rebuild.

Every contribution, no matter its size, brings me one step closer to rebuilding a future that war interrupted but did not destroy.
