I am reaching out for help after surviving a terrifying and traumatic experience. My husband strangled me in our bathroom for hours, and only stopped when our children came home from school. My children, ages 8, 10, and 13, immediately tried to defend me. My 13-year-old was shoved across the room and her face was sliced on the corner of the TV console. The police were called, and my husband was arrested for domestic violence, including strangulation and harm to a minor. He bailed out within 36 hours, and now my children and I are in a shelter where the abuse has continued. I have been sharing my story online to bring awareness and to protect others from similar situations.

We are seeking support to help us rebuild our lives. The funds raised will go toward safe housing, stability, basic needs, and legal support for domestic violence and divorce. Your support will help us find safety and begin to heal from the trauma we have experienced. Every donation, share, or even taking the time to read our story means so much to us. Our ultimate goal is to own our little home or trailer. Something that is our safe space. Something nobody can take from us.
