Help Elliott Get His Spark Back: Support his TB Recovery
Donation protected
Meet Elliott — a bright, cheeky, energetic 4-year-old boy who has always been full of life and laughter. But today, he is lying in a hospital bed, fighting an invisible illness that has silently damaged his spine over years.
Since he was a baby, Elliott has caught every sickness going, and was constantly told it was “just viral.” He loved running, climbing, and playing like any child his age. But over time, his legs began to fail him. He would say, “My legs don’t work,” and eventually had to crawl or be carried. After months of persistence, Elliott was finally admitted to hospital — and what came next was heartbreaking.
Doctors discovered Elliott has tuberculosis (TB) — not in his lungs, but in his spine. This rare and advanced form of TB has gone unnoticed for 2–3 years, collapsing three of his vertebrae. He is now on complete bed rest while specialists determine whether he will need spinal surgery.
At just four years old, Elliott has already endured:
* Multiple MRIs under general anaesthetic
* A painful spinal biopsy
* Many blood tests
* An NG tube
* Days of fear, isolation, and confusion
* And is due to have a spinal tap next week to test for any other infections
Elliott is not allowed any outside visitors due to being considered contagious and is confined to a tiny hospital room
He has lost his spark — and we’re doing everything we can to keep him entertained and uplifted in hospital.
Despite everything, Elliott continues to show incredible strength. His doctors are optimistic, and so are we. But this journey will be long — full of hospital stays, possible surgery, specialist care, physio, and recovery.
Why We’re Asking for Help
We are raising funds to support Elliott and his family during this difficult time. Your donations will go towards:
• Travel and accommodation costs for hospital visits
• Hospital essentials, clothes, and entertainment for Elliott
• Time off work for his dad so they can both stay by his side
• Any long-term care or rehab support Elliott may need
❤️ Please Help Elliott Fight
Whether you donate, share, or simply keep Elliott in your thoughts — thank you. Every single act of kindness helps lift this family during one of the hardest moments of their lives.
Megan and Chris are also having to travel back and forth to Birmingham Children’s Hospital with their 6 month old Daughter, Delilah.
We believe in Elliott. He is a fighter. And with your help, he will rise again.
