Today I met 2 people, Ellie who is 18 and Christian who is 20. Ellie is 15 weeks pregnant and they are both homeless. We found them by the grace and mercy of God. They have found trouble with people trying to hurt them on the streets, and they are not safe where they are. Ellie has her mother in Florida who is helping them get into a place, but they need to get there. They have no money and need bus or plane tickets to get back there so Christian can find work and start to build their lives for their new baby on the way. With your help, I will personally go and buy them the tickets and take them to the bus station or airport, whatever is needed. I can't just stand by and watch, but I'm also struggling financially and can't just give them the money, or I would. It's about $270 per person for them to make it home. She has problems with pain that could be related to the pregnancy, and I won't and can't stand by and watch. We can do something as a team. I have been giving them the stuff they need to eat, and I bought them dinner and gave them the stuff they need to stay warm until they can get out of this town and back home where they belong.
