Help Me Serve Smiles in Peru!

My name is EllaRyann Cottrell, and I am a pre-dental student at the University of Georgia with a deep passion for service, wellness, and providing care to underserved communities. This winter, I have been given the incredible opportunity to travel to Peru on a dental outreach mission with Volunteers Around the World (VAW)—but I need your help to make it possible.

During our time in Peru, our team will set up mobile dental clinics, assist local health professionals with cleanings and extractions, and host an education day to teach communities about oral hygiene and disease prevention. Many of the patients we’ll meet have limited or no access to dental care—something we often take for granted.

This is more than just a trip to me—it’s a chance to live out the purpose I feel so deeply called to: using my future in healthcare to meet people where they are, listen to their needs, and offer compassionate care that brings both healing and hope.
