Help Ella raise funds for Cara Projects Centre

Hi,

My name is Ella O'Neill; I am a 5th Year student in the Holy Family Secondary School in Newbridge, Co. Kildare.

In February 2023, I have volunteered to travel to Nairobi, Kenya as part of the Cara Projects group.

Cara Projects is an Irish charity which has built an amazing centre which is a refuge and home to almost 40 young women and children. Many of the girls living there were street children, orphans or suffered FGM (female genital mutilation) and child marriage. Cara Projects gives these women a home, a family, an education and a bright future.

While in Nairobi, "we the volunteers" will be working daily, assisting with projects such as building houses, painting, gardening, cooking & delivering food parcels.

Prior to travelling, each volunteer needs to raise €2500.
