My name is Elizabeth I'm coming to my friends, family, and Navy support community for help. Our son went into the U.S Navy on Oct. 6th, 2025. He graduates Navy boot camp on December 11th, 2025, in Great Lakes, Illinois. We haven’t seen him since he left.

We really want to make it out to his graduation, but as you can imagine it is financially straining. My husband is the only one who is working right now due to some medical issues I’m having ( I do a little on the side but not a lot) Between the airfare and hotel and extra cost associated with making the trip and maintaining things back home. It is posing to be difficult. The idea of Joshua standing there waiting to be tapped out by family and not having anybody there to help celebrate him and support him is very sad to me. We want to try to make this trip happen.Please help us get to Chicago to see our son graduate from Navy boot camp. Hooyah!!!!!
