This past year has been incredibly challenging for me. I was displaced twice by housing programs that unexpectedly fell apart, leaving me scrambling to find a safe place to live. At the very last minute, I found a terrific apartment in Uptown and felt hopeful about starting fresh. However, when I arrived, I was faced with an unexpected domestic incident that made settling in much more difficult and disrupted my plans to find a job to supplement my disability income.

Now, I am working hard to stabilize my housing situation and rebuild my life, but the setbacks have made it tough to cover essential living expenses and focus on employment.
