Help Me join the Global March for Humanity: Support My Journey to Gaza

My name is Elisabeth. I am a retiree and joining humanists from 50 countries in a powerful act of solidarity: the 50km Global March to Gaza from Al Arish to Rafah. Together, we are raising our voices to demand urgent humanitarian aid and justice for the Palestinian people — who are currently facing an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe.

Why I am Marching

The Palestinian struggle has continued for over 70 years, but since the devastating events of October 7th, 2023, the situation in Gaza has become unimaginably dire.

For the last three months, no food has entered the Gaza Strip — even during a declared ceasefire. Aid that does reach people is dangerously inaccessible and completely insufficient. The United Nations has classified the situation as one of the highest levels of famine.

Meanwhile, the world watches as global leaders fail to uphold human rights and international law. I can’t stand by in silence — and I know many others feel the same.

Not everyone can travel to Gaza. Not everyone can march. But I can — and I will — on your behalf.

• Helping amplify our call for an immediate end to the violence

• Travel (from Sydney to Cairo) and accommodation costs to reach the march and complete the journey
