Help Elijah Rebuild After Devastating Fire

Elijah Morrison is a soon to be graduate senior within the Putnam City School District. He takes part in many extracurricular activities and sports such as the Psychology Club, Dynamite Volleyball Club, and the school volleyball team where he plays varsity. Elijah has also been reached out to by multiple universities regarding volleyball to further his career as a student and athlete.

Unfortunately, these academic and athletic achievements and participation haven’t stopped misfortunes from falling upon Elijah and his family. Even with this constant strive for success, Elijah has been met with a series of unfortunate events in the past few months, which he has overcome with the help of friends and family. But now, with the most recent events, Elijah will need more help than ever. In the early morning of May 5th, right before school, Elijah and his sister were woken up to smoke and fire within their residential complex where they live. Elijah and his sister were able to escape from the fire without serious injuries, but Elijah lost all of his belongings in the fire, which had started in the complex below his room. All of Elijah’s personal belongings, clothes, shoes, and other possessions have been either destroyed or lost due to smoke damage.

Elijah has always been an individual who takes initiative in making sure others are safe and happy before himself, regardless of what he may be going through. He has always been a person of good character and loyalty to others.
