Elie is one of my oldest friends.

My big brother. The friend who has a sixth sense and knew to call me when I was at my worst.

Elie is a man of few, but wise words.

He and his gem of a wife Tala are currently stuck in Lebanon, where atrocities are raging. This is not a political post, this is a humanitarian, emergency one.

They need to get to safety.

Unfortunately, as of today, that means leaving the country.

Their hope is to get to Türkiye, and from there request asylum in Spain.

Hopefully we will see them safe and sound as soon as possible.
