<div>Elie is one of my oldest friends.
</div>
<div>My big brother. The friend who has a sixth sense and knew to call me when I was at my worst.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Elie is a man of few, but wise words.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He and his gem of a wife Tala are currently stuck in Lebanon, where atrocities are raging. This is not a political post, this is a humanitarian, emergency one.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>They need to get to safety.
</div>
<div>Unfortunately, as of today, that means leaving the country.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Their hope is to get to Türkiye, and from there request asylum in Spain.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hopefully we will see them safe and sound as soon as possible.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you were feeling clueless as to what to do to help in those devastating times, this is one strong way of contributing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Should you have any questions please do reach out.
</div>
<div>I will be collecting and transferring the money straight to Elie and Tala, as Lebanon is not supported by this platform.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My warmest regards to whoever contributes or helps spreading the word.
